Australian Wine Centre was established in Hong Kong in 2004 and specializes in the sales and marketing of premium "boutique" wines from Australia. Our company's vision is to bring the delights of fine wine produced by small volume Australian producers which would otherwise not be available in the city.

Our wines are all stored in the underground storage facilities operated by Crown Wine Cellars and located in Shouson Hill, Hong Kong Island. These storage conditions are the finest available in Asia, thus ensuring that the wines reach our customers in top condition.

Most of our wines are stocked by Horizon Cellars, a wine retailer located in Horizon Plaza, Ap Lei Chau, on the south side of Hong Kong Island. In addition, wines can be purchased via an on-line order process.

As an example of our range, we have brought the following to Hong Kong:

• Rosily (Margaret River, Western Australia) – Awarded the "Most Outstanding New Winery 2003" in the Western Australian Wine Industry awards
• HALiFAX (McLaren Vale, South Australia) – The epitome of a boutique winery, a single vineyard Shiraz producer of less than 500 cases per year of only Shiraz.
• Amherst Winery (Pyrenees, Victoria) – Located in the heart of the Victorian Goldfields, estate grown Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon have made it into Melbourne's top restaurants - and now to Hong Kong!
• Schild Estate (Barossa Valley, South Australia) – Plenty of history here, with the Schild family establishing their vineyard back in 1952

The main focus of our business is to market our wines to private customers, both individuals and corporates, with select distribution to retail outlets and premium restaurants.

We regularly hold interesting wine themed evens, often in collaboration with Vinovento, Hong Kong's only professional wine events company. Join us at one of these events and experience these delightful wines in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Get a group of friends together and take part in a Mystery Wine Game evening.

We specialize in corporate wine events and have developed specially tailored programmes for our corporate clients.

Wine education is an important aspect of our business as we seek to raise the awareness of Australian wine in Hong Kong. Members of our expert panel visit Hong Kong frequently to conduct wine masterclasses, both for the public and corporates.
